You cry out: "But... the Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me!" Isaiah 49:14. Our Lord tenderly answers you, in verses 15 and 16: "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me."
When you find yourself all alone, remember your Lord. He always is there. When everyone else has given up on you... When you have called for prayer and no one is home, you have His word that He is there for you.
God uses people to repair people. We are His hands, His feet. God, all by Himself, could do it. God came to me in the darkest night of my soul. He brushed my cheek with His holy kiss...whispered to me from the shimmering leaves of an overhead branch. It's God's love that wins the sinner, not His judgment. God's love is pure and holy, but it is also the most powerful force on the face of the earth. That is why we must yield, so that this love can flow through us to other hurting people.
