Apostolic Theological Seminary, Inc. is seeking accreditation with the International Association of Apostolic Bible Colleges, Seminaries, and Universities. Accreditation should be finalized this Fall 2017.
AST is incorporated in the State of Louisiana to grant Masters and Doctorate degrees.
ATS's professors have degrees from accredited schools.
'As the president and founder, my vision is to educate through our degree programs future professors
to teach for Apostolic Theological Seminary.'
- Dr. Klein
Thus, if you are lead by Jesus Christ to be a Bible professor, let us educate you to teach for ATS.
We always need professors to teach courses to seminarians overseas.
Is the Seminary Really Accredited?
Apostolic seminaries can make statements.
Some seminaries claim accreditation, but aren't truly accredited.
If you were to contact an accredited seminary or graduate school to transfer the Apostolic school in question degrees' or credits', one needs to ask if its degrees or credits would transfer?
Another test of accreditation - can you receive government loans for their degree programs?
If you can't receive government money - loans or grants, it is not accredited.
Apostolic seminaries and colleges claim accreditation, but they are not accredited?
"As a seminarian at Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary, I received Guaranteed Student Loans.
Why? Because it is truly accredited." - Dr. Klein
Anyone can get another school or Apostolic organization to state/give their accreditation!
A Further thought on Accreditation
For ATS to be accredited like other seminaries requires a payment of at least $10,000. just to start the accrediting process.
We are charging about $70. a credit. Where is the $10,000. plus going to be gained? Sure, we could charge $300 to $900 per credit hour to pay their fee.
We provide Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic Biblical language courses at a fraction of the cost of other seminaries. Eventually, only those with a Bible degree from ATS will teach at ATS.
I teach N.T. Aramaic from the grammar I wrote. Who else in the USA can make that claim? I also teach Greek from a Greek grammar I have written.
My method for teaching the Biblical languages is very unique. My synagogue education has been very beneficial. Was in a Yeshiva course this Summer with an Orthodox rabbi - by webinar out of Jerusalem. His Hebrew language studies are fantastic!
ATS is not credited, but we can easily justify our existence.
