Jewish Studies Seminar - Apostolic Theological Seminary, Houston Campus

We are planning an ATS Jewish Studies Seminar 2018 in the Houston, Texas area. We plan to visit as a group,  a Jewish synagogue service as guests, a Middle Eastern restaurant, the Houston Holocaust Museum, and lectures by the Dr. Bruce & Professor Dana Klein, Dean of Jewish Studies. This is a opportunity to experience real Jewish life in  America and visit without the pressures or fear or going alone. We also will be there to answer your questions as to how Jewish life of today contrasts with the time of Jesus, and compare it to modern day Christian practices. You will be thrilled to  hear the Shema  recited aloud, as it has been part of Jewish Prayer for centuries.

You will be responsible for your own meal price and hotel fee. There are several nice hotels within the area.

The Holocaust Museum

The participants will eat at a Middle Eastern buffet. $13. each​, includes a drink.​

​The participants will attend an actual Jewish synagogue meeting. The location will be announced. ​

The participants will learn the Biblical Hebrew alphabet, terms, etc. They will learn the purpose of Jewish Prayer,  and how Tefillin is applied, etc. along with interesting facts inquiring Christians want to know. ​
