The Shepherd’s Responsibility to the Sick
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. 13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. 15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” John 10:10-16
The 'thief' is the devil and his demons. They work through the false pastors who are the 'hirelings'. Most pastors in the churches today are hirelings. They may or may not have gone to Bible college and maybe seminary to become a professional pastor to get a job. When the going gets rough for them in the church, they leave. They will get a job in another church where life is easier, or where they can be the boss in place of Jesus.
"And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, (2) Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? (3) Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. (4) The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed thatwhich was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them." Ezekiel 34:1-4
God's shepherds are to heal the sick. Are the sick not being healed?
"Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: (15) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick (2577), and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:14-15
Can your pastor pray in faith for your healing?
Does your pastor have faith to pray for your healing?
Are you attending a church which teaches that healing is for today?
Does your pastor teach that you go to a doctor first than seek God?
Does your pastor have results in his church with getting people healed?
They do not provide healing to the church, because they do not have the Holy Spirit's/Jesus' power working in them. Pure and simple, false pastors are everywhere! That is why the church is full of sick folks!!!!
You have a responsibility to not be in sin. If you are in sin, don't expect to be healed!
