BIBLICAL ARCHAEOLOGY - NEW TESTAMENT
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course seeks to equip students with a basic knowledge of:
·        how archaeology demonstrates the historical reliability of the Bible;
·        enables us to understand the New Testament world better;
·        and provides a deeper understanding of the text of the New Testament.
·        It will seek to strengthen the student's trust in the Bible.
The course will be highly visual (including short videos) and participative in nature.  Students will become well acquainted with important sites throughout the New Testament World.
Students will receive weekly PDF chapters of an upcoming book that will accompany the course.  Good quality copies of all pictures used in the course will also be available for students to download and use in any future ministry/educational work.

This is a base-level course that will give the foundations needed to take your study of Biblical Archaeology to the next level.  Specifically to undertake the "Biblical Archaeology - A Practical Introduction", where you can begin learning the skills needed to understand & participate in properly supervised excavations.  The "Biblical Archaeology - A Practical Introduction" course could also provide credits for an MA or PhD with ATS.
